How to make a strong herbal infusion?
Use 1 to 3 tablespoons of dried herbs in a tea strainer. Place it in a teapot or mug, then pour boiling water over it to submerge. Cover the container and let the herbs steep for 15 minutes to an hour before straining.
How long do tea infusions last?
Herbal infusions should be strained after no more than 12 hours to avoid a disagreeable taste. Once strained, the infusion should be consumed within 36 hours.
